Fairy Tales from Grimm to Disney
Audio-Only Course Introduction with Narrative Voice
October 2024
Description
This audio-only syllabus was designed for sophomore-level undergraduates in a fully online general education course on fairy tales, cultural transformation, and modern storytelling.
Created in response to a client request for a blind-accessible learning asset, the piece applies Andragogical principles by emphasizing self-paced exploration and personal relevance, while UDL principles guided the design of an entirely non-visual learning experience. The project uses narrative framing, performance variety, and tonal modulation to support emotional engagement, with elements of Cognitive Apprenticeship present through modeling of critical interpretation and tone-setting.
This project highlights my ability to create immersive, voice-driven instructional environments that meet both accessibility and pedagogical goals with a flair for entertainment.
